Here are a list of LETC members whose bike helmets have been sacrificed to save a head injury.
So- wear your helmet, get a helmet that fits and replace it regularly. Also make sure the straps are properly adjusted each and every time you go out! Refer to your helmet specifications for safe fitting instructions.

I had one too before I joined the club (September of 2004) … cracked from front right to back right … could put my fingers right through the foam afterwards!
